Gail Moran Wawrzyniak is a North Carolina writer bringing together her love of art, history and writing.
Gail's writing found its roots in Northeast Minneapolis, centered between George's Grocery Store, the old folks' high-rise, the corner drug store, the Catholic Church that lost its steeple in the big tornado, and Kapala's Funeral Home.
Her writing is an exploration through the small German towns west of The Twin Cities, north and east through Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin's Lake of Flames, numerous stops in the cities of Europe, and now on the East Coast in Raleigh and Huntersville, North Carolina.
Gail graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a writer of essays, poetry, fiction, and plays.
If you've ever wondered about what inspires writers, then follow along with Gail's journeys through the small towns of the Upper Midwest, local art museums, Native American history and the grand cities of Europe.
